Lattice
An urban walk on a tarmac path revealed a scattering of decaying leaf stems forming a criss-cross pattern. These patterns were drawn on a slab of clay and then carved to create intersecting three dimensional pieces. Different forms and orientations have been explored. Thick strips of clay have also been stacked then partially glazed and wired to create towers.
